ACFAS - American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons is a professional medical society of foot and
ankle surgeons in the United States. Each of the over 7,700 members have graduated from one
of nine podiatric medical schools in the US with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.

AOFAS - American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society

The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society is a professional medical society based in Rosemont, Illinois. It was founded in 1969 and currently has a membership of around 2,400 foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeons.

IPMA - Illinois Podiatric Medical Association

As an organization designed to support Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), (or podiatric physicians or podiatrists), the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association (IPMA) has grown and developed into the major source for foot and ankle health care information for the public and is active in the Illinois legislature regarding foot and ankle care issues and access to foot and ankle care by podiatric physicians.

MIDWEST PODIATRY CONFERENCE

The Midwest Podiatry Conference is a confederation of fourteen state podiatric medical associations.  The state associations of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin are the founding members and make up the Executive Council.  Regular members are the state associations of Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and the Canadian province of Ontario.

FPMA – Florida Podiatric Medical Association

The Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA) was organized in 1927 for the purpose of advancing the science and art of Podiatric Medicine, promoting the benefits of scientific advancement in the treatment, prevention, and alleviation of podiatric ailments, and enhancing relationships within the Podiatric Medical profession and other groups dedicated to improving healthcare. FPMA currently unites more than 1,000 Podiatric Physicians in this common cause and serves as the voice for the profession in Florida and Washington, D.C. through Delegates to the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

NYSPMA - New York State Podiatric Medical Association

Established in 1895, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA) is the first organization of its kind in America. NYSPMA is the largest statewide component of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and its affiliated national network of certifying boards and professional colleges. The NYSPMA and it's more than 1,100 doctors of podiatric medicine support excellence in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery in creating awareness of the profession's role and value.
